Here we are again. Another week of gaming in the bags. As we end week number 5 of this journey I started, I really took time in working towards completing some stragglers from 2017 that I still have yet to complete. In here The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lays.
I’m not 100% sure why I didn’t play BOTW (Zelda) all the way to story completion, but it is definitely the one game I am looking forward to completing most. After all the great things people have to say about it I am finally back in the swing of things. I finally got to the last “Divine Beast” that I need to complete in order to go defeat Ganon. However, before the final battle of the lizard Divine Beast I decided to get a little side tracked and do some side quests and discover some shrines. For the time being I will continue my journey of side quests and eventually defeat Ganon somewhere down the road.
In addition to Zelda, I’ve been playing Assassin’s Creed Origins. I know I’ve spoken about this game in previous weekly updates, but this game is really sticking with me. I am now well over the 10 hour mark of the game and approximately 1/3 of the way through the main quests. I’m a level 19 and have been intrigued by the side quests for the first time in a very long time. I often find myself doing side quests for hours not even caring that I haven’t progressed through the main story in a few hours.
Well that does it for me this week. I plan to beat Zelda in the near future and even take down Assassin’s Creed Origins slowly, but surely.
